The End of the Beginning

Until the 20th of this month I have alot of spare time, spare time enough to work on websites, do lots of running and cycling and then have more spare time. So I am going to start typing my journal into this blog.

But then there is the question of how, writing it word-for-word is rather boring but has the merit of being a rather mindless task that has a beginning and an end. Or, should I write it from a perspective of the present and so be a bit more creative with the truth? In any-case it will not be very exciting prose, the trip so far has lacked any material that could be used in blockbusting film about my life. But it is a good exercise that will let me reflect on the trip and perhaps do some research on some of the places I have been to.

There are in the journal many receipts, tickets and a few maps that I have glued in using prit-stick which I will retrospectively add in (as my phone got wet in the last journey causing the USB transfer does not work).

The odometer is currently at 2500 and will likely not move until December. Not that I wont be doing any cycling, I will, but the routes will be circular and afterwards my position on this earth will be the same as it was at the days beginning.

I think I will take the medium approach and write in the context of the journal but elaborate and add things that I missed at the time but which come to mind in the present.
